TV & On-Camera Work
Amy Sweezey built her broadcasting career at radio and television stations across Illinois, Indiana, Michigan, and Florida. After leaving full-time TV weather in 2020, she shifted her focus to public speaking and providing media services to various media companies worldwide.
As Founder and CEO of Social Weather, LLC, Amy's on-camera portfolio includes Carnival Cruise Line, Growing Bolder, Convention News Television (CNTV) and nationwide local affiliates of ABC, CBS, NBC, FOX, and Spectrum News.
For 18 years, Amy was part of the weather team on WESH-2 News (NBC) and WKCF CW-18 in Orlando.
Before Central Florida, Amy lived in the Midwest forecasting weather for WWMT-TV (CBS) in Kalamazoo, Michigan, and at WSJV-TV in South Bend, Indiana.

Here's a behind-the-scenes peek of how Amy's day used to begin.
And here's a video from Amy's last day at WESH in Orlando.
Long before her weather career began, Amy scooped ice cream! That's right! One of 20 things that might surprise you about Amy is that her first job was at The Frosty Boy in southeast Michigan (where she says, "I made $1.60 per hour and was very excited the day I got a raise to $2.10 per hour.").
