
About the Author
For nearly 30 years Amy Sweezey has delivered forecasts on television and spoken to countless groups of children about weather.
Combining those passions, Amy authored two children’s books about weather, one fiction, and one nonfiction, and created two weather workbooks for elementary school students based on Florida’s state standards for science and weather.

It Never, Ever Snows in Florida tells the story of AJ who lives in Florida and has never seen snow. He dreams of a day when he can build a snowman, or wear warm boots in the winter like other kids. AJ soon learns he can’t say NEVER when it comes to weather. Just because he hasn’t seen any, doesn’t mean it never snows in Florida.

The Let's Talk Weather Activity Book, Grades 3-5 expands basic weather concepts using educational worksheets, coloring pages, fun games, and challenging puzzles for kids in 3rd through 5th grades. Learn how to recognize the seasons, water cycle, and moon phases; understand weather systems and patterns; create weather scenes and forecasts; and identify types of weather, along with weather terms, tools and instruments.

Designed by Amy Sweezey, author, broadcast meteorologist and former homeschool mom, this activity book teaches basic weather concepts using educational worksheets, coloring pages and fun games and puzzles for kids in kindergarten through 2nd grade.
